Fair Eemnes

Brocante shoppen met je hoofd in de wind en de appels boven je hoofd. Dat deden we deze namiddag bij de brocante fair van de Blommenhoeve in Eemnes. Leuke oude spulletjes en mooie nieuwe dingen, oude bouwmaterialen en vers fruit, cupcakes en leuke kinderspulletjes. Het is er allemaal. En met een beetje geluk schijnt de zon. Parkeren is gratis, toegang € 3 per persoon en een bezoekje is zeker de moeite waard.

Shopping for brick brack with your head in the wind and some apples above your head. We did it this afternoon at the brocante fair of the Blommenhoeve in Eemnes (the Netherlands). Nice old stuff and nice new things, old buildingmaterials and fresh fruit, cupcakes and funny childstuff. It's all there. And with a little bit of luck the sun will shine. Parking is free, entrance is € 3 per person and the fair is very worth visiting.

Wildroute

Vanmorgen was ik in Harderwijk voor mijn werk. Ik reed in mijn auto nietsvermoedend over de Stationsstraat toen ik opeens oog in oog kwam te staan met een paar prachtig ingepakte bomen. Juist...wildbreiers in de buurt. Helaas had ik mijn camera niet bij me (stom!) maar eenmaal thuis gekomen, zie ik dat ze zelfs een complete wildbrei-route hebben! Als je eens in de buurt bent...kijken!!!

This morning I was in Harderwijk for work. I drove my car through the Stationsstraat when suddenly my eye fell on several wildknitted trees. So beautiful! Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera. What a pity. When I came home, I looked on the internet and saw they made a whole wildknitting route! So when you're in the neighbourhood...go watch!!!

Have a crochet weekend!

Hoera, het is weer weekend! En eindelijk weer eens tijd om wat aan haken te besteden, want oh oh wat gaat de tijd toch snel...
Dit keer haakte ik een bestelling voor De HaakFabriek: 2 rammelaars in vrolijke kleurtjes. Eén is voor een jongetje, daar heb ik de roze kleurtjes maar achterwege gelaten. Zie hier het resultaat...

This time I made an order for De HaakFabriek: 2 rattles in happy colours. One is for a boy, so I left the pinky colours aside. Look for the result...

De roze variant is wat lichter van kleur geworden...
The pink one became a little lighter of colours...

Maar uiteindelijk ben ik er behoorlijk trots op!
But after all I'm terribly proud of myself!

Afgelopen weekend zijn we naar mijn schoonouders in Frankrijk geweest. Ze hadden een huis gehuurd in Picardië, aan zee, net boven Normandië. We hebben langs de zee gelopen. Het was eb.

Last weekend we went to my parents-in-law in France. They rented a house in Picardië, at the coast, just above Normandy. We walked by the sea. It was low tide.

Het was wel even oppassen... Er vlogen nogal wat zeemeeuwen met last van hun darmen. Mijn zwager hadden ze al totaal ondergekakt, brrrr.

We had to look out for the seagulls. A lot of them probably had some terrible stomach achs. My brother-in-law was totally pooped over, jaiks.

Ach nou ja...als je haar maar goed zit...
But well...whenever your haircut looks great...
